Are you ready to begin your path?
Have an experienced special education teacher guide you through the path of an IEP.
Can you help with an IEP or 504 plan?
The short answer, yes!
Below are some answers to concerns that I have been asked.
Getting an IEP or 504 for the first time?
Becoming eligible for services under either plan us the biggest hurdle to gaining one of these plans. As a Special Education teacher, I have administered an evaluated the results of the evaluations used to determine eligibility. If you child meets the criteria of eligibility for special education, I can guide you through the process in 90 days or less.
Understanding the Process
Maybe your child already has an IEP or 504 plan, but you are confused as to what your rights are as parents, what services your child is already receiving, how you can proceed going forward. I’m here to help you navigate any questions or concerns you have moving forward.
IEP Problems
As parents, you have the right to amend an IEP at any time. Some common concerns I help with are service placement, IEP changes, updating goals and objectives, implementing behavior intervention plans, violations of parental rights, whatever it may be, I can help you navigate your path forward.
504 Accommodations
If your child has a 504 I can help you navigate this as well. And walk you through becoming eligible for more services if needed.
